Wide Steps
A woman and three dresses that transform into a scene consign three steps - three moments - in the life of a character. From the poetic to the acid humor, the sensitivity crosses deep and common themes, such as life as a couple, old age and bonds; through an original language that breaks the mold of traditional communication.
The show takes the object theater, and through an exhaustive work of experimentation takes it through the path of innovation and mixture, due to its technical versatility, which includes mouth and object puppets, objectification of the body, as well as assembling and disassembling from something as simple as a dress or a sheet of paper.
what Ei! has to say
An international company arrives at Ei! between Uruguay and Spain. They bring a journey through the poetic and dreamlike world of being and its transformation, in the vision of a woman who is being transformed. They manipulate puppets, animated forms and objects that lead us to think about how bodies change throughout life. This is a unique proposal for Ei! and it is essential to present the work that is being developed internationally. To be able to connect with languages and, above all, with other languages.
Coriolis - Teatro de Objetos

that's how
“Passos Largos” by Coriolis - Teatro de Objetos, from Uruguay and Spain, was performed.
To a packed room, we saw a puppeteer who mixes a multiplicity of techniques, images, and colors in her work to make us understand the fragility of moments and the comicality that human finitude can have. In a game of multiple techniques, she creates moments of tension and that tightness in the throat that truth creates in us when the feeling is deep.
An actress on stage manages to populate the stage with lives, characters, moments, territories, and images that unsettle us and lead us to ponder which house we are inside.
