I-HUMAN
Design and prototype small robots/puppets similar to those in the showcase, as well as a brief introduction to manipulation. At the end of the workshop, conditions permitting, we will set up a small miniature stage for participants to experience being the manipulators of these small puppets in a show with light and sound.
From here, participants will have the opportunity to really put into practice and experience the dream of developing processes to create small puppets that are cardboard robots.
what the festival has to say
Art finds it difficult to create closed concepts, such as where puppets come from, what defines a puppet, what relationship exists between the actor-manipulator and the animated object, what are the boundaries and limits of tradition and technology, how languages evolve and where they intersect. It is in this discovery that this project is integrated, discoveries of ways to manipulate, discover, and embark on new paths.
ANYMAMUNDY – Teatro de Rua e Criação plástica
ANYMAMUNDY is an independent project dedicated to the performing arts, which aims to promote and innovate in the field of street performances, exploring physical spaces, public spaces, and unconventional themes, combining performing arts with visual arts.
The ANYMAMUNDY project took its first steps in 1998, resulting from the union between two visual artists, Pedro Estevam and Marisa Vieira. Initially focused exclusively on the visual arts, it explores sculpture, modelling, and painting through the production of handcrafted pieces and the creation of decorations for spaces and events. In 2001, it joined forces with performative theatre, with which it established an immediate connection. Since then, focusing on multidisciplinary training, including circus arts, dance and movement, music, voice, and interpretation, the project has developed, embracing various components of the performing arts.
Between 2010 and 2017, she welcomed students from the IKASLAN school's makeup and special effects course to her FX laboratory through EUROYOUTH, as part of the LEONARDO DA VINCI project. She also welcomed students from the Chapitô workshops for internships.

that's how
Ei! Marionetas activities are underway, with the I-Human training program, a puppet-making workshop that ties in with the Puppet School program, aimed at educating audiences. Pedro Estevam and Marisa Vieira, from the Anymamundy company, have prepared a program that adds value to this project. By inviting other artists to share their knowledge, targeting these activities at a wider audience, these are initiatives of great importance, which consolidate the possibility of training in the field of puppetry, as well as being activities that are greatly enriching on a personal, family, and social level.
Artistic training is part of the Ei! Marionetas program, it is the pillar of the Puppet School, and it is one of the cornerstones of the Teatro e Marionetas de Mandrágora.
